I turn financial evidence into board papers, cash-flow forecasts and recommendations that business owners can use. My doctorate and years as a lecturer trained me to check sources carefully and explain complicated figures without losing the important detail. Often the difficult part is bringing information together. I help teams agree on definitions, reconcile figures from different systems and decide who can access sensitive records. The result might be a reporting template, a revised forecast or a plan for connecting the ledger to a planning tool. I used to mark papers on the commuter train, and I still like that quiet stretch for editing. Clients can expect direct questions, clear prose and a record of the assumptions behind each recommendation. If the evidence doesn't support a conclusion, I'll say so.
